Acabo de ler esse texto [noticias.uol.com.br/midiaglobal/prospect/2005/03/02/ult2678u6.jhtm], chamado A felicidade está de volta e escrito por Richard Layard (não fiquem tristes que eu também não sei quem é... só achei que seria cortês postar o seu nome já que ia falar de um texto seu (;). Como o texto é meio longuinho e são duas da madrugada, não vou comentar muito; só vou dizer que concordo com algumas das idéias... Concordo, por exemplo, com essa da "maior felicidade possível para o maior número possível de pessoas", e acho que deveríamos começar por aumentar a felicidade dos menos felizes — mas também acho que é um assunto bastante complexo que eu não tô afim de resolver hoje d:

Já perceberam que hoje eu tive limpando a minha caixa de email né? Então, aqui vai mais uma velha mensagem que achei...:

Hmm...  Sabem que acho que a pessoa que falou/escreveu isso (seja o Gates ou não) até que não estava totalmente errada? Na minha opinião, não se deve ser tããããão duro assim com a criançada, especialmente com os mais novos, mas já para o pessoal um pouco mais velho, como eu (;, às vezes a vida está tão fácil que depois vamos mesmo nos ferrar ao percebermos como realmente é o mundo... Mas deixe que vou me preocupar com isso amanhã, que no momento tô me divertindo aqui na net e não tô querendo abrir o meu livro não!

Eu tenho. Não estou conseguindo entrar na primeira tentativa. Digito tudo, aperto o Enter... E recebo aquela notificação de que errei na senha e que devo tentar novamente.

Me recuso a acreditar que seja de alguma maneira possível eu estar errando toda maldita vez que quero ver meus emails... Seria o Yahoo! Mail então?

Ah, e noutro dia, quando ia entrar no meu email para ver as mensagens, o nome de usuário já estava escrito, e só faltava escrever a senha... Só que esse username não era meu!! Era de algum Ismo (que é um nome masculino finlandês)... (Detalhe: eu sou a única pessoa a usar esse computador.)

Essa de ter que ficar repetindo a senha tem me irritado bastante na última semana... Mais alguém??

Iiih... Tenho uma prova de português amanhã! Mas se a prova for similar às dos anos anteriores (e deveria ser), eu não deveria ter problemas para passar — mas nunca se sabe! Mas sinceramente falando, tenho mais medo de não acordar com o toque do relógio (ou melhor, celular... ou melhor, os toques do celular e do relógio) de manhã do que não passar da prova por falta de conhecimentos...

Dizem que o resultado sai no dia 13 de junho, se eu não tiver passado eu aviso vocês... Rsrs

First off (and "off topic", too), let me tell you guys how sorry I am I don't own a camera: I would love to be able to register the mess in my room right now.... It's terrible!!!  I can't believe I managed to make such a mess in just two days....  And I've been too tired to clean it up, but maaaybe tomorrow....

Anywho, so much for tomorrow; now let me tell you guys about today (iA)....

Titititi, tititi — that's the alarm of my cell going off this morning. I had so much trouble getting up... I just wanted to stay in bed and go back to sleep... You all know how it is, right?

But I decided to be a good student — for once  — and go see a professor of mine about a test I'm hoping to take in June. So I got up and got ready to get to the University in time for his office hour that would start at 11 and go on till 12 — or so I thought. I had even re-checked yesterday, and there was no note on his door or anything suggesting that there would be a change — but as soon as I got there, of course, I noticed this huuuge note on the wall saying his weekly office hour had been rescheduled [by the way, do you guys pronounce schedule with a k or an s?? me and my janoo always argue about that... (;], and would start at 1Pm. Guess if I was disappointed....

So anyway, there I was, with two hours to kill...

But no problem, there was other stuff I needed to do while downtown, so I went ahead and changed this pair of shoes (some type of sandals) I had bought for work yesterday — for when I had gotten home yesterday, I had realized I had one sandal of size 38 and another of size 39...  I guess they didn't check because it was so close to closing time, and just wanted me out of there Asap!

So I went and got myself a brand new pair of sandals (both the same size this time ), and bought myself a pair of flipflops, too: I just couldn't resist the 5 euro bargain (just like I couldn't resist another 5 euro flipflop bargain yesterday... )... So now I got two brand new pairs of flipflops (one pink, the other red ), and a pair of work sandals (that really are boring and completely unfashionable, but necessary), aaaaand, another pair of (bargain) sandals, these cuter.... They just caught my eye

In other words, I guess what I'm trying to imply is.... This summer had better be a hot one, appropriate for flipflops and sandals!!

 Where was I...???

Oh, so I walked around town a little more, doing diff things I had to / wanted to do, and a little after 1, re-arrived at the University — just to find my professor speaking with someone else behind an almost closed door. I waited around for I don't know how long... But eventually got to speak with him (the professor; not the person he had been talking to (;) and got to ask the things I wanted to ask....

After that, I ran into a girlfriend, also an Anthropology major like myself (:, who was in the center looking for a birthday present for her boyfriend... I joined her since we hadn't seen each other in some time. We went thru a looot of stores... But I managed not to buy anything (more than I already had yesterday and earlier today.... (; [...]) while she bought stuff, not just for her boyfriend but also for herself (; (Oh, I did buy an ice cream and a cup of tea — but I guess those don't count... Right?? )

I had a nice time, and even ran into another friend from my soccer team... But when I finally got home after some 4—5 hours of walking around, I have to say I was a "little" tired....

But all in all, I had a very nice day...  And I had a nice day yesterday, too, since I decided to give up on this class I was having trouble with (which of course, left me sooo relieved ), and I also spent a few hours with a friend (:

Now, I just hoping my boyfriend doesn't read this post: he might not be very happy to hear that while I've asked him if he can borrow me some money so that I can pay the rent next month, I'm shopping for flipflops and sandals....  (;

When me and my boyfriend (yes, I do know that is not grammatically correct... ) first got to know each other (three years ago), I would always call him (and he wouldn't call me so much) because at the time, I was still living with my parents and had no cell phone (and that being the situation, it was easier and more convenient for me that I call).

After I got myself a cell phone (and eventually, moved out of my parents' house), the habit persisted. I'm not exactly sure why, but I guess after all that time of me calling him, it just felt natural, and I would "always" be the one to dial.

Now, for the past month or so, it has been my janoo calling me — because a friend of his recently got separated and is now staying with him till he gets a place of his own. (Well, actually he's already got a place, but it seems he still needs to get a few things, such as curtains and pans, before he can stay there and lead a reasonably comfortable life.) Anyways, since you can never really talk to your lover the same, free way you do alone when you're surrounded by people, for the past few weeks, it's been my boyfriend calling me (because that way, he can choose the moments best suited for conversation... since as you all know, I don't do anything special all day long  and "thus", don't really care when he calls — as long as he calls  [Although I have to say, I do sometimes miss the "good, old days" when I could call any time at night and talk... I mean, it's not like I'm forbidden now, either, but a lot of times he's just not able to talk for very long]).

Anywho, I'm just a little worried of what will happen when this friend finally moves to his new apartment [which should be happening any time now]... Will me and my janoo [yes, I continue knowing it is not grammatically correct!! ] simply forget to call each other because both of us finally can???
